Nursing team

Nurses:

Our nurses see patients for dressings, vaccinations, smears and travel. They also see a variety of other general nursing appointments.

Fran: Fran is our senior nurse, and has a special interest in diabetes.

Emma: Emma is an Urgent Care Practitioner. She can see a wide variety of acute illness and is able to prescribe.

Jackie: Jackie has a special interest in Asthma

Sarah: Sarah has a special interest in COPD and asthma – this includes spirometry testing.

HCAs:

Sue, Jack and Amanda are our healthcare assistants and offer a wide range of services including phlebotomy, dressings.

Phlebotomist:

Cynthia is our dedicated phlebotommist and works each weekday morning.

Community nurses

The community nursing team provide care for patients who are too ill or infirm to attend the practice. There is a single point of access for district nurses across Milton Keynes to which our staff have access. If you feel you are in need of their services please speak to one of the care navigators who can advise.

Midwives

The midwives are employed by Milton Keynes General Hospital Trust, and no longer hold clinics at MK Village Practice. They provide support and advice throughout pregnancy and the antenatal period. The Antenatal Day Assessment Unit can be reached on: 01908 243 939.
